Lea Peterson

Lea Peterson is a Boston-based singer, music director, vocal arranger, and voice teacher. As a classically trained mezzo-soprano Lea has an active soloist and ensemble career. Recent highlights include soloing with early music ensemble A Joyful Noyse as well as premiering Joi Harper's piece unshakeable at Pickman Recital Hall. Lea holds a Masters in Vocal Performance, and her experience as a singer, alongside her knowledge of technique and ensemble music, makes her a sought-after coach, lecturer, and conductor. She is currently a visiting professor at Bridgewater State University as well as a music director and teacher at Greater Boston Stage Company. As a private teacher Lea maintains a voice studio in Somerville where she teaches students of all abilities.
