Maggie Freeman

Maggie Freeman is a PhD student at MIT, where she researches nomadic peoples in the modern Middle East. Growing up in Switzerland, Maggie became fascinated with histories and practices of pastoralism, which evolved into a lifelong interest in nomadic communities around the world, both historically and in the present day. In her podcast, "Nomads, Past and Present," she tells the stories, through research and interviews, of how nomadic peoples have impacted and shaped history and the world we live in today.
