Marcela Filizola

Marcela Filizola is a Scholar-in-Residence in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. She has a PhD in Comparative Literature from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a MA in Literature, Culture, and Contemporaneity (PUC-Rio). She works primarily in the areas of literary theory and comparative literature with an interdisciplinary approach, connecting the fields of literature, visual arts, and ethico-political philosophy to gender and sexuality studies.
