Michael Koran

Michael Koran has been teaching at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education since 1979. He has taught many different classes, including poetry, short story writing, creative writing, drama, religions for the world, Defeating Self-Defeating Behavior, Shakespeare, philosophy, and love and friendship. He is about to publish his first volume of poetry, "Verse to Better," comprising 366 poems for the year. Michael teaches poetry and writing and religions for the world to women in prison for Boston University. He has also taught "Introduction to Philosophy" for over 20 years at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Michael has written and presented at the Cambridge Center and on television two one-person plays: "Prose and Cons: Liberating Stories from Prison" and "Inaudible Laughter."
