Olivia Hochstadt

Olivia (she/her) is a fiber artist, knitwear designer, yarn spinner, and natural dyer using locally foraged plants. Olivia designs and knits one-of-a-kind garments using yarn she spins and dyes. In 2021, while pursuing a BA in Art History and Spanish at Colby College, she was awarded the Colby Global Fellowship to study knitwear and wool in Shetland, the Faroe Islands, and Chile. Professionally, Olivia works in arts organizations and curates art shows for artists incarcerated in Maine’s prisons.
