Penrose Allphin

Bio: Penrose Allphin is a composer and researcher with a background in choral singing and playing for musical theatre. Their academic and creative work has been published in Transgender Studies Quarterly and the Anthology of New Music: Trans & Nonbinary Voices, Vol. 1. Penrose holds a B.A. in music from Smith College and a M.M. in music theory from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Penrose is also on the board of QORDS, a queer youth summer music camp. In their spare time, they enjoy baking and playing with their cat, Percy.
