Valerie Sutter

Valerie Sutter has pursued her passion for France throughout her adult life. Born in the
United States, she fell in love with the French language in high school and majored in it at university.
After graduating, she moved to Lyon, where she earned a Master’s degree from the Faculté des Lettres while launching her teaching career. More than 30 years of living and traveling in France have​ deepened her connection to its culture, leading her to found The French Traveler, which offers​ immersive summer language workshops and curated trips to France. She divides her time between​ Paris and Miami, where she teaches at various adult learning programs and organizes a French film​ club.
