Anatomy for Artists: Head, Neck, Hands & Feet

This class will concentrate on the three anatomic regions that are the most challenging for artists to draw, paint or sculpt: the head and neck, hands and feet. We will utilize a skeleton, live models, anatomy atlases, and references to learn about each region's skeletal elements, deep and superficial muscle layers, connective tissue and vascular elements. Students will then draw directly from the live model, developing a greater understanding of how to correctly draw the regions studied. Prior drawing experience is strongly recommended, particularly from a live model. Instructor: Mark Lefkowitz
