Beginning Piano Level 1 *In-Person*

Have you always wanted to play the piano? Have you taken a few lessons in the past but can't remember as much as you'd like? It's never too late to learn! This group class will cover all the basics, including how to read music, and you will learn simple tunes in various styles. The Faber Adult Piano Adventures All-in-One Course, Book 1, is required.

Marie H. Kurfirtova plays piano, organ, and synthesizer. She began her musical training at an early age, went on to study classical music at the Prague Conservatory, and then jazz at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Over the years she has performed and collaborated with numerous artists and groups. Her experience embraces jazz, rock, Latin, popular, and classical idioms. She has also taught piano and music theory privately and in music schools.
