Drypoint Etching *In-Person*

Intaglio printing means printing ink from the incised marks in a plate or matrix. This is a course for beginning students seeking exposure to intaglio printmaking without any of the nasty chemicals. We will give special attention creating drypoint prints, scratching into plexiglass and terra pack plates. The intaglio line is like no other in the sense that it becomes embedded in the fibers of the soaked paper. The end result is a deep, rich, and unique mark. Instructor: Jo Elliott Gutierrez
