Knitting for Advanced Beginners

This course is the next step for students who have completed the Knitting for Beginners class or for those who feel fairly comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, binding off and reading a simple pattern. Students will start by making mittens and learn different methods for knitting small circumferences in the round. We will practice using double-pointed needles and the Magic Loop. The second project will be knitting a small toy. Increasing, decreasing and fixing common mistakes will also be covered. Knitting outside of class will be helpful to develop skills and complete the project. Instructor: Jooe Kim
