Intermediate Open Studio Jewelry *In-Person* *NEW*
Bring your sketches and ideas for an intermediate jewelry project to this class and we will make them a reality! This guided open studio style class is for students who have taken both Beginning and Intermediate Jewelry or equivalent. A $25 material fee will be collected the first day of class for basic materials that will be provided (such as sawblades, sandpaper, and solder in addition to brass and copper sheet and wire.) Please bring any sterling silver that you intend to use. Instructor: Laura Jaklitsch

Laura Jaklitsch
Laura Jaklitsch is a jewelry artist and instructor in Somerville, MA. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Laura holds a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has been making jewelry since 2005. Laura has worked in the jewelry industry extensively as a bench jeweler and in cosmetic restoration of fine watches. She was the 2016 recipient of the Society for Contemporary Craft’s LEAP Award and has appeared in publications such as Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist and the Lark Books title Chains, Chains, Chains: 25 Necklaces, Bracelets & Earrings. Her work is carried by galleries across the country.
