Make It and Hang It: Woodworking for Your Walls *In-Person* *NEW*

This dual-focus class combines basic woodworking with practical installation skills, guiding students through the process of making and hanging functional objects for the home. At the start of the course, students will collectively decide which projects to pursue. Options may include a wall cabinet, carved hooks, Shaker-style peg rail, broom hanger, frames, or simple shelving. Alongside making, we will focus on how to securely install work in drywall, including locating studs, using anchors, and patching holes. By the end of the course, students will have built confidence in the woodshop and basic home installation, leaving with finished objects and the skills to continue making and hanging work at home while adding function and personality to their spaces. A materials fee of $30 will be paid to the instructor on the first day of class. Instructor: Isaac Gewirth
