Improv may seem like a bunch of spontaneous interactions between actors that miraculously lead to a story, or just a group of people fooling around on stage. You aren't wrong, entirely, but what may surprise you is that improv, as a craft, is deeply rooted in one key element of acting - the truth. Using world-renowned acting coach Susan Batson's proven acting methodology and helpful improv techniques from her acting book Truth, we will explore the fun and the science of Improv.
