Spanish: Beginner Level 1

Spoken in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia, Spanish has the second largest number of native speakers in the world. It is also the second most studied language in the world, and the third most used language on the Internet. Make Spanish your second language with our first-rate instructors. This level is for students who have not studied the language before. Following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference, students at this level will learn to identify common words concerning themselves and their families, read basic vocabulary, ask and answer simple questions in areas of immediate need, and use simple phrases and sentences to describe familiar people and places. Instructors

Johana Rodriguez

Johana is native to Colombia, where she studied Marketing, and Psychology. She segued her career in education, teaching various levels of Spanish to business executives at a national bank and instructing international students at primary, secondary, and university levels. She posses a B. A. in Spanish and Psychology and holds a Texas Teaching License Spanish EC-12. In addition to Cambridge Center for Adult Education, she instructs at a Bilingual Program for Cambridge Public Schools, and provides private tutoring for children and adults.

Luz Elena Zuluaga

Luz has taught Spanish for over 15 years. Luz has instructed both beginners and advanced Spanish to students and business executives alike. Luz is a graduate of La University Pontificia Bolivariana en Medellín, Colombia.
