Chris Layden

Chris Layden is a PhD candidate in physics at MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. He works on developing instrumentation for ground- and space-based astronomy and on studying astronomical phenomena that occur on very short timescales, such as rapidly spinning neutron stars, very tight binary systems, and solar system objects flying in front of background stars. Outside of astrophysics, Chris spends a lot of his time playing ultimate frisbee.
