Armchair traveler, seasoned tourist, or devoted Francophile — join us for a captivating new journey through the City of Light. Whether it’s your first “visit,” a trip in the making, or a return to a beloved place, this latest installment of Parisian culture and history will delight. We’ll explore iconic sites and hidden corners, revisit old favorites, uncover new gems, dive into fascinating French history, and discover how films have reimagined Paris. Topics this year will include: From Lutèce to Grégoire, The Latin Quarter and the Marais, The Algerian War, and Paris on the Silver Screen. Class will be conducted in English, but you will learn some essential French phrases.
