Burlesque: The BeauTease Way *In-Person*

Burlesque is also exciting, empowering, and a great exercise. Suitable for performers of all shapes, sizes, and experience levels, this workshop for women only introduces the basic building blocks of vintage-style burlesque. You will learn dance moves and techniques for handling classic clothing elements such as gloves, boas, and stockings. This class will meet in-person at CCAE. Please view our In-Person Class Guidelines prior to enrolling. Burlesque is a creative dance form that encourages inner empowerment and sensuality while reconnecting the participants with their own bodies. This 90-minute workshop taught by members of the award-winning BeauTease burlesque troupe teaches the fundamentals of this creative art form in a fun, supportive environment. Students of all levels of experience and all body types are welcome to attend and accommodations can be made for those with limited mobility.
