Beginning Jewelry: Bangle Bracelets *In-Person*
Beginning jewelry making students can continue learning in this workshop which focuses on creating a set of 3 textured bangle bracelets, one each in sterling silver, bronze, and copper. Students will learn to further develop their fabrication skills, including measurement, texturing, filing, forming, soldering, and tumbler finishing. All materials will be provided, including sterling silver, bronze, and copper (in different shaped wires), saw blades, solder, and sandpaper. A materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor on the day of the class. Instructor: Laurie Savage

Laurie Savage
Laurie Savage received a BFA in metalsmithing from MassArt in 1998. She has taught the jewelry program at CCAE since 1999 and metalsmithing workshops at the DeCordova Museum School since 2005. Her work is included in numerous private collections nationally and internationally, and is available by commission. She maintains a studio in the Distillery Building in South Boston.
