Programming Basics: Java Edition *In-Person* *NEW*
In this class you will learn the basics of computer programming through Java; a language that is the foundation of many modern applications. The concepts we will cover: variables, conditionals, loops, functions, arrays, and objects, will provide you with the building blocks for building your skills further, or simply unveiling the black box behind the technology you interact with everyday. Kelly Plakyda
Kelly Plakyda is a programmer from southern New Hampshire. She got her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and now works as a programmer at IBM. She’s passionate about computer science education for beginners and was a teacher’s assistant and course coordinator for the intro to java course at Purdue.
