Liz Ging
Liz Ging is a language educator from Boston, Massachusetts with experience working in community college, language institute, and community education settings. She earned an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts, Boston; TEFL Certification from the Boston Language Institute; and a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her areas of interest include the role of emotion in language learning, teacher cognition, and teacher education preparation. Her overseas experience includes projects in Belize and Egypt, as well as most recently in Brazil, where she was an English Language Fellow with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Her own language learning experiences have been focused on Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, as well as Modern Standard and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic.
Sandy Middleton
Sandy Middleton is an effective ESL Instructor who is passionate and committed to providing engaging classroom lessons and experiences that assist students to build skills and achieve their desired English Language goals. Sandy is CELTA Certified, and holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Sandy teaches all levels of Generalized English, TOEFL, and Cambridge Exam Courses. Katy Doughty
Katy Doughty fell in love with language learning as a student. Since earning her TEFL Certificate from the Boston Language Institute, she has taught ESL in Boston and South Korea. In addition, she holds a B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design. Originally from Texas, she now resides in Somerville.
