South African Favorites *In-Person*
The food of South Africa reflects the unique location and mix of people, at the confluence of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, where African, English, Dutch, and Cape Malay cuisines blend. In this class, we will make denningvleis, a savory stew; gold rice, an Indian-influenced side dish; chakalaka, a carrot curry from Lesotho; and malva pudding, a signature sauced cake from South Africa.
