Continuing Stand-Up Comedy Writing & Performance *In-Person*

Have you taken Josh's stand-up class twice or three times and wanted even more? For stand-up that stands out, this next-level class will take your set to the next level. Prepare for emcee/hosting and feature gigs, continue writing and developing your material and on-stage presence, hone your comedic voice and overall presentation, and learn production and promotion basics. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certified teacher and comedian Josh Filipowski will have you laughing and learning.

Filipowski has produced and performed in countless comedy shows nationally and internationally, produced projects for NBC, and contributed to The Howard Stern Show (SiriusXM) & The Complete Idiot's Guide to Jokes (Alpha/Penguin). He founded Like 2 Laugh Productions in New York in 2003 and has helped comedians develop in New York, Los Angeles, Lexington, Costa Rica, Italy and beyond. Besides the stage, he has hosted radio and live-stream programs as well as appeared on ABC's Noon Show, NBC's Today in LA, and NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

In addition to performance and production, Josh has a BS in Life Sciences Communication from the University of Wisconsin, a TESOL certificate from Global TESOL College, a Competent Toastmaster Award from Toastmasters International, and 10+ years of teaching experience. He has taught for American Language Communication Center - New York, NY; Idioma Internacional - San Jose, Costa Rica; ELS Language Centers - Santa Monica, CA, Richmond, KY, and Boston, MA. Students always have fun in Mr. Josh's classes.
