Tack Fusing: Landscapes & Bouquets *In-Person* *NEW*

In this two-hour glass fusing workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing by creating one tile (8'' x 11'') that will be kiln-fired at 1400 degrees -- a low temperature that allows the glass elements of your design to stay three-dimensional. Create a composition with powders, frit, confetti, copper, stringers, and glass ribbons. Landscapes and flowers are popular sources of inspiration, but students are welcome to explore other ideas. The instructor will fire the creations in his own kiln. A $95 materials fee per student will be included in the tuition. The workshop is open to adults and teenagers accompanied by a participating adult. No previous glass experience is necessary. Instructor: Michel L'Huilllier

Safety note: Students must wear closed toe shoes. Safety glasses are required and will be provided for students not wearing eyeglasses.
