Intro to Papermaking & Mixed Media *In-Person* *NEW*

This 8 week class will introduce students to papermaking at a D.I.Y level while accentuating its use in drawing, installation sculpture, and basic book production. We will delve into the diverse possibilities of sheet pulp, including lamination, creating windows and pockets, adding textures with found materials, and book-making. With the use of inexpensive paper moulds and deckles that are great for starting off; my goal is to show you don't need an elaborate setup to pull sheets or to incorporate the practice into other facets of your creative output.
