American Sign Language: Beginner Level 2 *Online*

Building on previous knowledge of the ASL alphabet, facial expression, fingerspelling and numbers, this course is designed to continue your skill development in expressive signing, basic vocabulary, and ASL grammar. For students who have attended a ALS Beginner Level 1 class of at least 10 hours. This course requires the additional purchase of a textbook. Instructor: Suzann Bedrosian

Suzann Bedrosian

Suzann L. Bedrosian is a native to the area and comes with over 30+ years experience in teaching American Sign Language (ASL). She grew up Deaf with hard of hearing family members and was educated in the Massachusetts public schools. She has a master's degree from Lesley University and has taught at numerous colleges and universities in the area including MIT, Lesley University, Suffolk University, etc. Suzann changed careers and teaching ASL is her passion. Sharing this unique language with second language (L2) learners is equally as exciting. She offers much and is thrilled to share her passion of teaching sign language at CCAE. In her free time, Suzann does yoga, gardening and cultural exploration in the city and elsewhere.
