Writing with the Haiku Masters *In-Person* *NEW*

Haiku, a short nature poem widely popular today, originated in 17th-century Japan. Who were the Japanese haiku masters instrumental in creating this poetry form? We will learn about Basho, Buson, Chiyo-ni, and Issa, read many of their haiku, and try our hands at writing haiku using their examples and advice. All are invited to this fun, supportive course. Each participant will receive a copy of the instructor's book, The Length of One Breath: Haiku Now.
