Basic Sewing: Level 1 *In-Person*
Learn the basics of sewing by completing three small projects. You will learn basic sewing skills, including machine maintenance and how to build your sewing kit, as well as how to cut, take simple measurements, create a simple pattern, and choose fabric. This class is intended for beginners. Access to a machine is necessary, please bring your own to class. Instructor: Rachael Linker

Rachael Linker has loved costumes from an early age. Originally from California, she received her BFA in Theater Design/Technology from Emerson College in Boston and her MFA in Costume Design from Temple University in Philadelphia. She is a costume designer, creator, crafter, educator, cosplayer, wardrobe technician, makeup artist, scenic painter, Etsy shop owner, geek, nerd, history buff, wife, and cat mom.
