Celebrate Valentine’s Day with us and show some love for our shared community!
Laurie Rothstein
Laurie brings three decades of work in local nonprofits to her role leading Cambridge Volunteers since 2015. These agencies hosted worldwide research expeditions, repaired the environment in Armenia, taught rape prevention through theater, empowered Boston youth, and opened access to college for under-served students while training urban teachers. All of these organizations relied on volunteers. Laurie believes in the unique power of volunteerism to create change and to change all participants -- including the volunteers -- in the process.

She is a graduate of UMass Amherst, with degrees in Comparative Literature and Spanish, and trained in Spanish interpreting at BU.
