Intermediate Jewelry *In-Person*
For students who have completed our multi-week Beginning Jewelry class, or have taken 3 or more single-session beginner jewelry classes, join us to further your design and fabrication skills. You will undertake more challenging projects while learning how to customize them, these may include a hollow ring project, prong setting, and tube setting a stone. All materials will be provided and there is a $50 materials fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Instructor: Laura Jaklitsch

Laura Jaklitsch
Laura Jaklitsch is a jewelry artist and instructor in Somerville, MA. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Laura holds a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has been making jewelry since 2005. Laura has worked in the jewelry industry extensively as a bench jeweler and in cosmetic restoration of fine watches. She was the 2016 recipient of the Society for Contemporary Craft’s LEAP Award and has appeared in publications such as Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist and the Lark Books title Chains, Chains, Chains: 25 Necklaces, Bracelets & Earrings. Her work is carried by galleries across the country.
