ESL Intermediate Level 1 & 2: Integrated Skills *In-Person*

This level is for students who have at least 80 hours of classroom time in ESL within the last 2 years, are familiar with frequently used expressions, and are able to express themselves in everyday situations. Following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference, students at this level will learn to handle a variety of situations likely to arise while travelling and living in an area where the language is spoken. John Coleman O'Donnell

John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Montreal, PQ. His educational background includes a BA in political science and an MA in political theory from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN. He has been teaching ESL for 15 years in the Boston area. John is married to a Brazilian woman and has visited Brazil three times. He is learning Portuguese and completely empathizes with second language learners, since Portuguese is not an easy language to learn!
