Hand Weaving a Tapestry *In-Person* *NEW*

In this class, students will learn to weave a tapestry by hand. From building a frame loom to removing the tapestry, you will learn the entire weaving process in detail. By the end of the course, you will have a finished tapestry and a reusable loom that you can use for future projects. You will be responsible for purchasing your own materials based on the provided supply list. Instructor: Molly Broekman

Molly Broekman

Molly Broekman is an artist and designer from Detroit, Michigan. She is a graduate of Wayne State University, where she majored in Fashion Design and minored in Textile Design and Art History. She is a dual-citizen of the United States and the Netherlands, and her work often takes inspiration from her travels. Weaving is her favorite fiber art, and she typically utilizes secondhand materials in her woven clothing designs. Her work can be viewed at http://mollybroekman.com/.
