Objects & Space

A group show featuring Martha Cassel, Donna Haig Friedman, Brett X. Gamache, Valeria Martin, Diana Meservey, Virginia Swain, Susan Varga.

On Display: Thursday, June 20th – Thursday, August 15th

These works display the magic of objects and spaces emerging onto the canvas in both still-life and landscape painting. Each artist captures a sense of color, light, and space through a close study of similarities and differences within one color group or between contrasting colors, as well as by simplifying a scene to essential elements and focusing on the visual power of spatial relationships.
