This accessible, beginner-friendly yoga program guides new and experienced students in movement, breath awareness, mindfulness, and relaxation while cultivating strength, flexibility, and mental focus. This class will meet in-person at CCAE. Please view our In-Person Class Guidelines prior to enrolling. When breath, movement, concentration and relaxation come together in yoga practice, we experience integrated functioning. When practiced regularly, physical health, emotional resilience and mental clarity increase. Embrace the season of your life with an accessible, feel-good practice. The goal is to restore movement patterns that support optimal functioning. Participants will develop strength, flexibility and mobility, while minimizing the risk of injury. Lucie Kasova

Lucie Kasova, E-RYT 500, is known for her teaching style that integrates yoga, breathing techniques and mindfulness. Drawing on her practice of yoga and meditation for more than two decades, she brings warmth, passion and playfulness to her classes, with the intention to spark curiosity about the ways yoga helps to illuminate the inner workings of the body and mind. With clear instruction, alignment cues and posture modifications, Lucie helps her students cultivate strength, mobility and flexibility, as well as clarity of mind. She also teaches Yoga Nidra classes for insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Lucie’s aim is to make yoga accessible to anyone with a desire to learn and her classes are open to students of all shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds. She believes that yoga offers something to everybody, enhancing their health, increasing vitality, and improving their quality of life.
